The 20s: Fateful Legacy

Good news

Fort Worth’s citizens gave TCU boosts when they were most needed. Mary Couts Burnett's generous endowment in 1923 allowed the University to build her namesake library. Her gift also allowed the school to survive during the Great Depression.
