SuperFrog in the new millennium (1999-present)
Archived online exhibit from 2009
In 1999, SuperFrog received an image makeover. According to the Daily Skiff, students liked the new look of SuperFrog because the old version “perspired a lot and had a little potbelly that his TCU shirt was fighting to cover. He didn’t look mean, and he wasn’t really a physically fit mascot.” Others observed that he looked “flabby and sick.” The new costume sported a more muscular physique and an updated wardrobe.
